Mental Cleanse Chapter 8 - Decision - The Mastery of Procrastination. 

To learn that most everyone is where they are in life based on the decision or

choices they make, for me was ground breaking. I didn't learn that today, but

it is a basis for the other things I did discover.

Growing up, I rarely saw a firm decision made, unless it was STOP that, or you

can get out and walk. Or some other ultimatum for my misbehavior. Mostly it 

would be an argument over who had to choose.

Sadly, I notice the same thing going on in my life, I never really have the desire

to make a decision. I sense the folly of that now. I will be including "I make firm

decisions quickly" to my self talk. 

One of the biggest themes of this chapter was - Learn HOW to think, not WHAT

to think. That is, do not allow the opinions of others to influence your own decisions

(unless they are sympathetic and harmonious to your desires) or you will be playing 

to those peoples desires and not your own. Be mindful of what you share, why you 

share it, and with whom you share it. You never know who is jealous enough of you

to try to sabotage your plans. Or even get their first, so that they can have the credit

for your ideas and dreams.

There was one thing about this, that I found I had a little trouble with in regards to 

network marketing though. "TELL THE WORLD WHAT YOU INTEND TO DO BUT FIRST SHOW IT" In my mind, network marketing relies on us "telling" people about

our product, service or company, or even our training system. So, how could we show

the world we intend to deliver this services/products, with out telling anyone? The only

answer I could come up with. Is that we only tell people that show interest, that we 

KNOW will be sympathetic and harmonious with our decision to be a professional 

network marketer, and we DO NOT tell people that think it doesn't work, or will 

only ridicule us for making the choice to own our lives.
