Chapter 10 - The Mystery of Sexual Transmutation - The Tenth step towards riches, a review and analysis.


Change. "The only constant is Change." Heraclitus.

To achieve the status of genius we are required by the laws of nature to make a few internal changes. Changes in the ways we Feel, Think, and Act.

The first change I feel that is necessary is an increase in Willpower. A highly developed willpower is needed to improve our lives for the better, with it hard work becomes easy work, procrastination becomes persistence, and "the switching of the mind from thoughts of physical expression to thoughts of some other nature" becomes as simple as turning on a light switch.

The desire for sexual expression is the strongest stimuli for the mind there is. It's power is often strong enough to induce many people to "risk life and reputation to indulge it." Embedded with in the emotion of sex, hidden deep where only the committed and the "lucky" find it is the secret of creative ability. It is when we have developed enough to understand that we can redirect the power of sexual urges to other productive things such as arts and sciences. We can use the increased vibration of thought and apply to our creative imagination and direct that at achieving our burning desires.

Constant development of our willpower in a manner such as this would bring us to ACT in a way that can only help us achieve our goals faster.

"Genius is developed through the 6th sense." The sixth sense or creative imagination is the direct link between our minds and the "universe" where the thoughts of all living and dead things dwell. Hill believes that the 6th sense operates better when the mind is vibrating at an exceedingly high rate. The rate of vibration can be increased by any of the 10 stimuli outlined in the book, though personally I don't think fear and alcohol are going to help you achieve your desires.

The desire for sexual expression when combined with love and romance form the most powerful way to accelerate your mind to the level of genius, so long as you have learned to transmute the energy to a form other then sexual expression. Allow your sweetheart to be your inspiration, show your love, build your romance, but hold on to the energy created through your actions and use it in other areas of your life and business. The energy can be created through the memory of your feelings as well. When you remember the good things in your life be sure to remember the good feelings you had in your heart, bring the feelings back into your heart. Feel the emotions again.

And Remember "There is no other road to genius then through voluntary self effort."

Chapter 9

Chapter 9 Persistence, the sustained effort necessary to induce faith, the 8th Step.

4 Steps to Persistence.

Step 1- A definite purpose backed by a burning desire for it's fulfillment.

Step 2- A definite plan, expressed in continuous action.

Step 3- A mind closed tightly against all negative and discouraging influences.

Step 4- A friendly alliance with one or more persons who will encourage you to

 follow through with both plan and purpose.

These are the 4 steps to developing persistence as laid out by Mr.Hill.  Know what you want, 

plan how to get it, don't let any one or any thing tell you you can't have it, get help from people 

who want the same thing.

So that is how it is done, yet so few in the world today persist until they achieve what they desire, 

why is this I under, we are always told that "if at first you don't succeed try, Try again"  yet, the majority

of people that I know, do not live by these words, they merely recite them mindlessly.  Tonight I am asking

myself Why, why is such a well known fact of life, neglected by the masses on a daily basis?  Is it because

we truly don't desire that which we think we want?  Or that our desire is strong enough to over come the obstacles

that may stand in our way?  Perhaps many of us really do need to build a stronger fire under our desires.

I know that through applied effort we can train our sub-conscious mind to reject failure, and accept all the good things

in life, but how many of us, apply the effort, I can name 100's more today then I could a mere 8 months ago.  So why

not the rest of us?

One of the first things Mr.Hill says in this chapter is Persistence is the product of Will Power, I was compelled to understand

exactly what Will Power is, I was not suprised by the answer though, Self Control.  The power to control ones' will.  Not let 

other people control it, not let things happen as they happen, but self control.  When we take control of our selves, and worry not 

what others think, then we can persist past failure to success.  Remember, the invisible guide is just testing you, you need but to pass.

Network Marketing Success - Program Your Mind!

Hi Dear Readers,

Your mind is being programmed everyday. Either you're doing it yourself, or somebody else is. If you're not in charge, then you'll really struggle for success in network marketing.

Are you letting the radio, the TV, the internet, the newspaper, or friends & family program you? If you are, then you are definitely being programmed for lack & limitation.

If you're in your car with the radio on, that radio has a tuner. You can tune in hundreds of radio stations. Those radio waves bombard you with negativity all day long. You are being programmed.

Do you turn the TV on and just leave it on while you're home? Again, you're getting constant programming. This stuff, at best, is trivial. At the worst, it's very, very negative.

And when you're programmed with negative garbage by radio & TV several hours a day, 7 days a week, 4 weeks a month, 12 months a year, year after year after year - it takes a toll. You develop a negative outlook on life and your MLM business - often without even knowing it.

 

Learn To Program Yourself

What happens with your mind, subconsciously, when negative friends & family members are talking to you? You are being programmed.

If you participate in this process for just 30 days, it will change your life. You will learn to stop the both the constant external chatter and the constant internal mental chatter - and to start reprogramming yourself with positive self-talk.

 

How Do You Stop The Negative Chatter In Your Brain?

First, you learn to train yourself to turn off that external negativity. That bit of negative programming you run into everywhere can bring you down for days and make you doubt yourself. You've got to stop that from happening.

Next, you learn to re-program your brain with positive self-talk. For instance, here is what I use:

"I am having fun, building the largest, most profitable, highest-retention organization ever built in the history of network marketing, easily and consistently through education and teamwork."

That's my self-talk. When I'm out in the field mowing, bush-hogging with the tractor, that's what I'm saying to myself. Anytime I'm driving somewhere, that is my self-talk.

When I first started using this particular self-talk, I probably said it 100-200 times a day. Now, the whole 27-word phrase is just a subconscious thing, repeating in my mind, over and over and over. It blocks out all the other chatter.

And the reason that's so powerful is, when you stop the chatter, you can truly, truly listen to people. And THAT is the skill that is so critical to your success in both business & personal relationships.

I will believe in you until you have the strength to believe in yourself.

The Seventh Step toward Riches

This chapter in Napoleon Hills' Classic book tells us how to conquer procrastination, by making firm decisions quickly(once we have enough information, some of us need more information then others) And Change our decisions, slowly if at all.

He goes on to tell of the beginnings of the American Revolution, and countless other examples of people risking everything for the benefit of Everyone, with out hesitation.

From this chapter I gleaned that life would be better, more smooth, and more in line with my goals, dreams, and desires were I to stand firm in the decisions I make, based on the knowledge I have, and not the opinions of people that are not in perfect harmony with me.

Scams Use a Sledgehammer!

In his E-book, Success in 10 Steps, my good friend and personal mentor Michael Dlouhy talks about how opportunity comes on little cats feet, But scams use a SLEDGEHAMMER.

The main concept is that when someone is trying to ram, slam, jam their opportunity or product or service down your throat, boasting about how much money the make, how big their list is, and trying to "close" you like sometime yesterday. That you should take a minute to think about a few key things.

Is this Duplicable?

Could I do this?

Could I train ALL my people to do this?

Kind of makes sense doesn't it? If you would not be comfortable doing it yourself or training your friends, new and old alike to, then it probably isn't for you. And chances are it just may be a scam. Taking the time out to think about these few key things, could help us all to avoid most scams.

Chapter 7

Chapter 7 - Organized Planning, the Crystalization of Desire into Action.

The Sixth Step

Desire, Imagine, Plan.  D.I.P. - Taking a D.I.P. into this chapter was a real eye opener, 

or re-opener.  There is so much involved in everything, it really does become quite 

whelming at times.  Desire to become more, imagine being more, then plan to become

more, and most importantly, put your PLAN to ACTION, and make adjustments as needed

until you achieve your desires.

Ally yourself with like minded people, form or become part of a strong master mind group 

that has your desire, as their desires and will work harmoniously with you, and you can 

work harmoniously with until your desires are reached and beyond.  Meet with this group

at least twice a week, Here, we meet Wednesdays and Saturdays...and several other nights

a week.  Work with the group, and the group will work with you.  Two minds are better then

one, and two hundred are better still.  Leverage the over all experience that mentoring for 

free can bring into your life, Michael, Don, Marcello, Richard, Sarah, your upline sponsor, and

so forth.  Make your own plans for success, but share your plans with the group for fine 

tuning, and critical over view, it may have been tried before and didn't work so well, or it 

could be greatly improved with a slight adjustment.

Never give up, keep on going until you achieve what you desire....Adopt the determination

of a two year old after a jar of cookies.  Persist past failure to success.  If you are failing,

it just means you need to adjust your plans.  Act on the plans you make, how else are you

going to find out how well they work?  Applied knowledge is power.  

Remember no person is Whipped until they quit in their own mind.  A quitter never wins and

a winner never quits. That quote has found a home in several places around my house, and

at my work.

To really be able to succeed in this or any other industry or calling. They will need to become

leaders of others.  People that lead others are compensated better for their services, if they 

demonstrate the habits and behaviors of good leaders.  Emulate strong leaders, leaders 

that people choose to follow such as, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, and the Dali Llama.  Avoid 

the attributes of leaders who choose to lead by force such as Napoleon Bonaparte, 

Caesar, and Hitler.  The true leaders, the best in the world, have been the servants of all

the most powerful as well as the most respected, chose for their work services that benefited

everybody.  `The greatest among ye, shall be the servant of all`

One of the best things you can do to constantly be improving yourself is to learn about your

self.  The more aware of yourself you are, the better you will be able to improve what is lacking

in your life.  There are some great self test questions in this chapter.  And don`t forget to learn 

the 31 most common causes of failure, and how to avoid them.  Everyone with Mentoring For
